We invite you to attend the Global Mural Conference, being held in conjunction with the Sheffield Mural Fest.

Now in its 6th year, the conference will be heading to Australia, and Australia’s island state, Tasmania and the town of Sheffield located to continue the enjoyment and learning of past Mural conferences. To date the conference has been held in Canada (British Columbia & Saskatchewan), USA, (California, Nevada & Georgia) Scotland and now Sheffield Tasmania. A town with a population of approximately 1200, located in Tasmania’s pristine World Heritage Area and on the doorstep to some of the most remarkable scenery you will ever experience.

The town of Sheffield will open its arms to over 100 delegates from around the globe to share in the three main themes to be covered during the conference; Arts, Community and Tourism, with keynote speeches expanding on each of those themes.

During the conference we aim to inspire, educate, reinvigorate through deep and meaningful debate balanced by just the right amount of fun and light-hearted entertainment. We invite you to join us and sample some of the unique qualities of Tasmanian life, then take home ideas to revitalise your own community or business enterprises.

During the conference, we hope to show that even a small community can realise a BIG idea. That size is not a barrier to achievement, only attitude and level of determination.
