GETTING TO SHEFFIELD

Devonport Airport

There are daily Qantas flights from Melbourne into Devonport. From Devonport Airport, turn right into the B74 and follow this to the A1, taking the Devonport ramp onto the A1. At Devonport turn left onto the B19 to Spreyton, then turn right into the B14 which takes you through to Sheffield. Driving time Devonport to Sheffield is 30 minutes.

Launceston Airport

There are regular Qantas, Virgin and Jetstar flights from most Australian airports directly to Launceston. From Launceston drive along Highway A1 or through the villages

on the secondary roads, turn left onto the B13 and follow it through to Railton, and the B14 to Sheffield.

1 hour drive from Launceston.

Spirit Of Tasmania

If you have the time, why not take a cruise on the Spirit of Tasmania and bring your car with you. The Spirit has day and overnight sailings from Melbourne arriving at Devonport in the North of Tasmania.
